Spill Hound® Recycling Centre

 

 

 

The Spill Hound ® Recycling Centre is an essential component of the Spill Hound ® oil spill program.

Distinctive and easily recognised by its sharp Spill Hound ® logo, the Recycling Centre is manufactured using tough plastics and strong aluminium to produce a lightweight yet durable unit. The Recycling Centre is fully mobile and is easily deployed to a spill location. The Recycling Centre includes everything you need to respond instantly to a spill - it will easily hold 60 litres (2 bags) of Spill Hound ®, and includes a specially designed polypropylene crimp-bristle brush head for optimum oil recovery. The shovel is built from tough, high density polyethylene and is spark-proof. The brush and shovel are secured using corrosion-proof and vibration-proof marine-grade mounting clamps.

 

The top of the unit houses a simple plastic filter which returns unused Spill Hound ® for re-use, whilst retaining the captured and encapsulated oil spill.
